But when she remarked "I never thought I'd be asking Cher to hold my meat purse," we realized what her get-up (dress, hat, shoes, and purse) was actually made of.
She won the award for Video of the Year. Cher presented that award and Lady Gaga handed her her "meat purse" when she accepted the award. She announced that her third album will be titled “Born This Way”.

She also talked about HIV/AIDS, the Grammys, her new single and much more .Whatever she does - however she looks - whatever she's doing here it is for a good cause. I'd love to see, to hear .. Lady GaGa sing this song in duet with an another singer with a Big Black Voice you know.. like Jennifer Hudson, Adele.. IT WILL BE AMAZING ! I love this song so much & her dancers...
Not that GMA isn't at fault, but Gaga has enough power I'm sure she could have just refused to sing the song, just like she took her CD off Target shelves. So I am disappointed in her. She knows how important those lyrics are, and I always thought, as controversial as she always is, that she would always give the middle finger to anyone who censored her.
